Questions
Everything you might be wondering
What is Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC)?
ABC is Dr. Kim's primary method. It finds vertebrae that have shifted forward (which the body can't correct on its own), brings them back, and releases adhesions so the body unwinds. It addresses the cause of pain rather than just the symptom.
What is the Blair upper cervical technique?
Blair is a precise, light-touch method focused on the top of the neck. Dr. Kim trained in it early in her career and uses it especially for babies, children, and delicate cases. Advanced Biostructural Correction remains her primary method for adults.
Does an adjustment hurt?
No. Dr. Kim’s adjustments are specific and precise. Some of the work involves big stretches to release adhesions, but it doesn’t hurt, and many patients notice better posture and easier breathing right after their first visit.
Is chiropractic safe for newborns and children?
Yes. Dr. Kim cares for all ages, using light, specific techniques for children, and especially loves seeing families bring children in for prevention.
Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Kim doesn't bill insurance directly but provides superbills you can submit to your insurer. She accepts HSA/FSA, checks, cash, and all major cards.
How much does it cost to start?
New patients begin with the $29 special (consultation, exam, X-rays, report of findings).
Will I have to come forever?
No. With Dr. Kim’s work there is an end to the corrective care.
What is Pangu Chi Gong energy work?
It’s an energy practice Dr. Kim has studied since 2001. In a session she works with the body’s energy to support how you feel; she also teaches the moving form. Sessions are available in person and remotely.
